Parisian Vintage!

Happy Thursday internet friends! I wore one of my favorite dresses in life yesterday, its from the vintage shop called Free P Star in the Marais district of Paris. I got it in 2011 when Ciara and I went. I've been in love with it ever since :)

I love how the sleeves are a bit sheer and poofy, its such a romantic dress! And of course I can't complain at the way it really comes in at the waist making mine look smaller than it really is.

The dress was about $15 and I paired it with bright blue suede pumps and my go-to big black flower I got from H&M :)

Vacation Vintage: Mexican Edition

So I went to celebrate my roommate and boo's birthday in Mexico recently! It was the most amazinnnggg trip ever, especially since its damn cold in DC. It was so nice to relax and just be in paradise :)

One of the nights I wore one of my favorite stretch mini dresses I got from the Goodwill years ago! It has two ruffles going down the bottom, with a scoop neck in the back. I can't remember how much it was but definitley not more that $7 or $8.

I had such a good time, I wanted to share some of my pictures with yall!

Holiday Vintage: Goodwill Edition!

Ok, lets not even talk about the fact that I have not posted since October...lets move forward from that y'all, a sister has been SWAMPED. Like no joke. But, on a lighter note, I am three months from finishing my thesis and having a MASTERS DEGREE and have many great and exciting plans for 2013 that I can't wait to share with you ladies :)

Anywhoooo! Today was such a great day, I got off work hella early, picked up my BFF who is in town from LA, and am getting ready for my holiday party tomorrow! I decided to put on a festive outfit for all the goodness going on today :)

The skirt is from the Goodwill circa like 2006, the turtleneck is from a consignment store by my parent's house, and the belt is from Goodwill as well. The whole outfit probably cost around $6.

Wedding Chic: Mustard Seed Consignment Edition!

So I just arrived back from my big brother's BEAUTIFUL wedding! Sigh, anyone who knows me knows that I have four brothers that I SWEAT. Like I don't know if there is any other little sister in the world so ridiculously involved in her brothers lives lol. I stalk them low key!
Anywho we had an amazing weekend of laughing, crying (well mostly that was me), dancing, eating, and road tripping to see the oldest sibling marry the woman of his dreams :)

I wore a fuchsia dress to the rehearsal dinner that I got for $25 at a consignment store in Bethesda Maryland called Mustard Seed, it has low, middle, and very high end pieces. It fit perfectly and the color really popped :)

I had to add this picture of my niece, shes hands down just amazing.

Feeling so blessed and so fortunate for my life. I hope everyone had a beautiful weekend!

Muse Mondays: Te from the Bronx!

I have a special place in my heart for my natural Muses, and when Ms. Te walked through the door of my Trunk Sale last weekend I almost died! She is tall, gorgeous, and has a head full of beautiful natural hair! I knew she would be an amazing Muse for you guys to get to know today!

Te is originally from the Bronx but joined the military where she has lived in Texas, Maryland, Germany and now back to MD where she has recently gotten into vintage clothing!

"Right now I shop mainly at Unique Thrift Stores, value Village and Waldorf Family Thrift store. If I'm in DC I like to stop by Annie Creamcheese in Georgetown. I'd love some suggestions on where I could find some treasures!"

Trunk Sale Recap!

 Thank you so much to the beautiful women who came out to support my Trunk Sale! It was such an amazing evening! All the ladies who came left with some AWESOME pieces and hopefully enjoyed my company...hopefully lol.

I got to meet lots of my blog followers which was the biggest treat of all, thanks to Te of  Fab Impressions and LaQuisha of Corner Curl Girl for coming through and brightening up my WHOLE evening!

These two ladies were the first to arrive and played no games! Dresses, purses, shoes, and my lovely camel fur jacket went home with them, they came with a mission and succeded! Lovely!

And I just to add this picture from Te's instagram of two of her purchases from the sale, isn't she just GORGEOUS? So happy my pieces went to some beautiful women.
