French Vintage: A Weekend at the Beach!

Yes, it has been a while...ok, a LONG time!!! I promise, so much has happened since I moved to France!! There is too much to fill you all in on this first post, so I will continually fill you in on my French journey!

This past weekend, my husband and I took a romantic trip to an adorable town (Honfleur) France. Covered with cobblestone walkways, orchids, roses, hidden pathways, adorable boutiques, all swarming around a quiet lake. What a treat :)

After an experience that went a little like this: almost sprained ankle (check), damaged heel of favorite pumps (check), totally embarrassed (CHECK)... I went ahead and left the pumps home this time and let the cobblestone roads fight someone else's ankles.

I wore one of my favorite Thrift store finds. Since it has been a while since I bought this dress, I decided to spruce it up a bit. I used a $2 scarf to create a bow on the backside of the dress. I also extended the opening in the back to show a little sexy...hee hee!
By the end of the day, the heat was only increasing so I unbuttoned 4 or 5 small buttons in front and created a V neck look. I actually liked it better like this.

This dress was around 4/5 bucks, shoes are flats from TJmaxx. I love it when my lipstick is more expensive than my dress!!!

Gros bisous :)
